My reply to Rachel Thake

Rachel Thake is grown up enough to call Labour voters rats. She chose to enter the political fray by calling us rats. Now she wants to be left alone?

“Leave me alone” she said in an open letter which I was made aware of after reading a piece on The Times online portal. And while she wants us to leave her alone because she has nothing to do with her parents’ political roles, she mentions my daughter, who is 11 and the Prime Minister’s children who are eight years old who not only they have nothing to do with our political roles, but never hurled insults to the Opposition or its supporters. They are not even old enough to have a Facebook profile.

As quoted by The Times Rachel Thake writes:

“First and foremost, I do not expect a reply. I’d rather this gets to you and maybe you think twice about your actions for the sake of your children, family members, followers, listeners and also your political party

”.

What does she really mean by think twice? Are our children and other family members in any danger? What are the consequences our children and family members will pay if we don’t shut up?

Had she wanted to be left alone, than why did she choose to insult all of us who vote Labour? Why would she play the victim card a week after being mentioned for the second time on my website? To be quoted in the media?

Why does she feel more special than our children, much younger than Ms Thake who have been the subject of criticism and targeted attacks by Daphne Caruana Galizia and her trolls over the past years?

Our children were targeted not because they said something but for merely being present with their parents to an event or even simply accompanying them on holiday.

Or in the case of Silvio Parnis’s son, who is eight years old, being in a coffee shop with his father was enough to be targeted.

Not to mention Chris Agius’s teenage boy who has also been targeted as were, Luciano Busuttil’s young kids and so on. No one was spared, age is irrelevant.

Like her parents, Rachel Thake wants to shut us up and in the process mentions our children and issues threatening warnings to “think twice”.

If there’s a political bully it is her father, who must have had a say in all of this. It is his style.

I have listened to few recordings of his programmes whereby he insults, denigrates, calls names and makes icky comments about people and even has the nerve to call them without preemption to bully them on the air.

He also quotes Daphne Caruana Galizia regularly and in return she uploads his programmes on her website, working hand in hand bullying people together online and on the air.

While we are on the subject of Daphne Caruana Galizia, the Times have never uttered one word against her hate blog, which digs and delves into private lives with most intimate details divulged for the public domain.

Over the past eight years she has targeted more than 500 individuals for either being Labour or fell out with PN. Schindler would have spared us, she wouldn’t.

Not only The Times keeps mum, but lets Daphne pull the strings at Allied Group.

Rachel Thake’s open letter was posted on her Facebook on June 28 and two days later made it to the Times portal, not even PN media reported it!

It left it in the hands of The Times which as time goes by it is more evident that it is becoming the PN’s daily English speaking newspaper.

So Rachel..you might have The Times glass house around you, but don’t throw stones. Your stones smell uncannily like rats anyway.
