Not impressed at all

Richard Cachia Caruana wanted to give a helping hand to Simon Busuttil yesterday prior to his anti-corruption protest and went on record saying “Under Fenech Adami Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri would not have lasted five minutes”.

Notwithstanding these comments, I am sure enough that Mr Cachia Caruana is well aware that some politicians under Fenech Adami spent a lifetime in politics fattening their pockets. Where did Ninu Zammit’s $3.2 million come from? It was Lawrence Gonzi who ousted him and not Fenech Adami.

Wasn’t also under Eddie Fenech Adami that Louis Galea acquired a piece of land at Fawwar l/o Siggiewi and then claimed that it was given to him by the farmer because he and his girlfriend use to go there?

Former Minister Michael Falzon, appointed by Fenech Adami, also had a foreign Swiss account. He was chucked out of politics by the people when he failed to get elected.

The list is never ending and the Labour Party will not take any lessons from Richard Cachia Caruana, unless he wants to give lectures on how to end up earning a quarter of a million euro after being voted out of your position.

This is a Labour Party statement;

Anyone proposing a reduction in energy tariffs wouldn’t have lasted more than 5mins under any Nationalist Administration

Of course Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes under a nationalist administration. Especially if they would have proposed the introduction of natural gas that contributed to Energy tariffs being reduced by 25%.
