Upon returning to the opposition benches in 2013, Dwinu ‘Rambo’ Vassallo found it difficult to adjust to civilian life, of selling jeans in his native hometown of Mosta, so to while away the time he started mending the torn pants of his fellow PN MPs.

During his ‘off’ days a mild sense of survivor’s guilt assails him because as an MP he is lacklustre and he knows that better politicians than him have bitten the bullet.

But he is a fighter and he considers himself as one of the last man standing from the once-proud unit he joined that was lead by that great commander-in-chief EFA. Nowadays that once proud party is a shadow of its past and this annoys Dwinu deeply so that any type of harassment towards any form of authority such as the Malta Police triggers flashbacks of his memories in the good old days, and his mind like the rest of the PN MPs regresses into thinking that he is still in government. Without thinking it through he expresses himself in the most authoritative manner on Facebook, not realising that he has just put his foot in it once again.
