We mourn for France

If there is one lesson for us all after the awful attack in France that left so many innocent victims dead it is to consider where hatred leads. These young men did not hate in a vacuum.

They were led on by hate preachers, propagandists and of course the whole hate machine of ISIS.

Nobody was spared, not even babies in prams.

Hating one another on the basis of religion or political beliefs is truly abhorrent. Stoking hatred towards each other is criminal in a moral sense and every sense too.

We all mourn for France today and we should see those who stoke hatred for what they really are, the dregs of humanity. Those who stoke hatred should be the social pariahs, with no exception to Malta.

We all know who they are.
