A fascist attack, Mrs Perfect has failed to pay social security contributions since becoming self employed

As already reported last week on this website Simon’s blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia has not paid all her Income Tax and VAT dues for several years. It now transpires that she has never paid social security contributions for 14 whole years since January 2002, when she had declared with the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC) that she had started her full-time self-employment.

A rough estimate indicates that at best she owes the Maltese coffers more than €18,000 and at worst around €37,000, depending on the income she would have declared since 2002.

Of course the lady feels she is untouchable and we know that she under-declared her income as a result of a review as reported in aTax Audit Report by the Inland Revenue Department which investigated Caruana Galizia for failing to declare her income for 10 whole years.

Pointing this out to my readers will tantamount to a fascist attack on her, Mrs Perfect claims.
