Caruana Galizia tiġbed l-ispag tat-Times u l-Independent

Il-Blogger ta’ Simon Busuttil Daphne Caruana Galizia qed tiġbed l-ispag tal-gazzetti Indipendenti. Qed tkun taf x’informazzjoni għandhom u xi stejjer ikunu se jippublikaw. Ġieli kien hemm waqtiet fejn uħud mill-istejjer tibdihom hi mbagħad jaqbduhom il-ġurnali l-oħra u l-media tal-PN.

Il-bieraħ Caruana Galizia habbritilna li l-Independent u t-Times huma partners tal-ICIJ fil-Panama Papers li magħhom jaħdem wieħed minn uliedha li għandu aċċess dirett għad-dokumentazzjoni kollha.

F’każ ieħor illum, Daphne Caruana bdiet storja dwar Keith Schembri f’attakk ikkordinat mal-media indipendenti.

Kieth Schembri caħad l-allegazzjonijiet kollha magħmula fil-konfront tiegħu. Din hija l-istqarrija ta’ Keith Schembri wara dak li ppublikat l-Independent;

For the second time in a week the Independent gets it all wrong.

Reference is made to today’s Independent on Sunday front page story entitled “PM’s Chief of Staff transfers three quarters of a million to BVI company in 2014”.

The entire story is riddled with inaccuracies, incorrect facts and unfounded allegations and assumptions.

No monies were transferred to my BVI company in 2014. All taxes have been paid on the funds held under the BVI company.

The BVI company, its operations and activities all precede my entrance into politics.

It is curious that the Independent, whilst failing entirely to understand basic documents, has once again, to its detriment, decided to repeat allegations and insinuations made by certain bloggers who have no journalistic integrity.

It is now evident that the Independent has agreed to form part of a character assassination attempt at the behest of certain quarters that have taken over the Nationalist Party.

Keith Schembri
