Daphne says don’t counter arguments about policy & politics with insults about people’s marriages and child-rearing skills

Blogger Daphne Caruana Galizia left a comment on my comments board in reply to a guest post by Steve Knight.

I couldn’t agree with you more, but it’s pretty rich coming from the single most destructive force to real Maltese Journalism.

Daphne Caruana Galizia wrote “It’s illogical because you don’t counter arguments about policy and politics with insults about people’s marriages and child-rearing skills. It is what is known as a non sequitor. If we were talking about marriage, children and related matters, it would be relevant, but we are talking about politics, so it is not”.
