Guest post: It’s not Daphne’s week

Daphne is furious that it has now become known that her Manfred has such strong connections to Austin Gatt and Tonio Fenech. And make no mistake, neither of these two Ministers were thought of as particularly nice honest or decent politicians.

They were both a significant reason why the PN lost so heavily last time. Essentially The Nasty Party’s PR person tried to manufacture a story and it blew up in her face.

But not before this former consultant to the Foreign Ministry told us Glenn should be shot, calling him and others animals and scum. How on earth did the Foreign Ministry give her a consultancy. An editor of a food magazine and a person with a degree in archaeology.

What qualified her for that €18,000 per annum. Daphne clearly doesn’t practice what she preaches because if she ate well she would not be as challenging to our eyesight as she is. Mind you this does not stop her calling Phyllis Muscat names, denigrating the looks of the President, of Sai Mizzi or any woman who does not choose to be blue blooded PN.

Few days ago Pluto justifiably reminded us about Labour voters being buried in the the “miżbla.” This is something all should learn about in schools but many kids don’t even know about it.

It’s also something we should remind ourselves of every year so these extremes are never reached again.

But we have Daphne PN justice. Call Glenn scum , shoot him and then bury him, where exactly?

Simon should be as embarrassed as Daphne as he should be of his sister, trying to create political mileage of a trauma many Maltese women and men face without her advantages. How does the stiff and stuffy Petra Caruana Dingli, married to a leading surgeon let herself be associated with a person like Daphne, and even Richard Cachia Caruana.

Daphne condemns Erdogan while telling us that those who disagree with her should be shot. Does Gordon Caruana Dingli approve of being, or having the Caruana Dingli name dragged into the mire of Nasty Party politics?

As for the comment board on Daphne’s nasty blog, Evarist Saliba, the ex Ambassador tries hard but does he consider what his presence on such a hate mongering blog looks like?

He is always tut tutting about good form but people in glass houses need to watch the stones they chuck with such undiplomatic abandon. It’s not good for him to preach on hate mongers blog. Certainly conduct unbecoming a former diplomat.

At least he uses his name. Since we observed how many of Daphne’s bloggers use girly names, there has been a seismic shift and so many new names uploaded. Most as unimaginative as poor Daphne who is having a very bad week poor dear.

As Raphael wrote in the Malta Today., the Nationalist Party are currently squealing about everything and nothing in the height of the summer season when they should all take a chill pill. In Daphne’s case she needs a double dose of chill pills.
