Mhux suppost nikkritikawhom

Daphne u l-ħbieb tagħha jaħsbu li ħadd minn naħa tagħna m’għandu dritt jikkritikahom. Messaġġ li ħalliet fuq il-website tagħha jgħid hekk;

Glenn Bedingfield once said on TV something of the sort: ‘So a blogger can insult us and we must shut up?’ And nobody replied.

What someone should have said is: YES. Exactly. The people, press, bloggers, EVERYONE has the right to criticise the government and insult it, but the government may not and should not retaliate.

And the press can hound and follow government officials but they cannot do the same. Because only the government is answerable to the people, nobody else. They cannot understand this.
