Gust Post: It may be just a coincidence, but Daphne Caruana Galizia is often seen at a Sliema outlet called ‘Paws for a Cause’.

No, it is not because she feels she needs to atone for Nicholas Grech, the convicted cat strangler.

It’s more the case that there are quite a few bargains to be found in this Borg Olivier Street Shop, which incidentally is a Charity shop.

Vintage shops are to her liking as well, not least because the ware is often cheap there too. And she does adores clutter and trinkets.

You cannot fail to see her wearing mostly black. Woman in Black. Given that purple is her favourite colour, wearing black makes one wonder. Nevertheless, her dress sense is awful, and all that costume jewellery she loves to wear is atrocious!

Lately she has piled on the kilos. maybe that is why it makes sense to wear black.

It would make even more sense to stay away from all those Twistees she munches as she types away at her keyboard till the early hours of the morning.
