What a coincidence indeed

A reader of this website who isn’t a Labour party supporter and who was among the invitees at the British High Commisioner’s event last Friday sent me an email saying “there was a particular corner at the BHC’s garden which was like a snake pit”

There was Richard Cachia Caruana conversing with Kevin Valenzia and Daphne Caruana Galizia talking to Austin Bencini. Really interesting.

But I wouldn’t expect Richard and Daphne to be lobbying at a party celebrating the Queen’s birthday. It does not cross my mind.

I believe it was pure coincidence that the fours of them met occasionally at this reception and for sure their conversation was the usual small talk at a reception, “hi kif intiY busy?” and the other replies “yes busy ta doing this and that” and what not. What else would they have to talk about?
